ACES AI Hackfest is an AI-empowered software development competition organized under the themes, Disaster Management, Healthcare, Agriculture, and Education & Entertainment.
Two publications from the department have won best paper awards at the 2nd International conference on Adavanced Research in Computing (ICARC) 2022. ICARC 2022 was organised by Deparment of Computing and Information Systems, Sabaragamuwe Univeristy of Sri Lanka and was technically co-sponsored by IEEE.
The team ESLE from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, had been chosen to advance to the Imagine Cup World Finals in March 2022 by being selected to the top 48 teams.
A group of our recent graduates (E/14) have been recognised by a national award: 1st Runner-up of the Best Research Awards 2021 competition organized by the Institute of Applied Statistics Sri Lanka (IASSL) under the open category.
