Suneth Namal Karunarathna received Ph.D. (2014) from Department of Communications Engineering, University of Oulu, Finland and M.Sc (2010) degrees in Communication Network and Services from Department of Networks and Multimedia Services, Telecom SudParis, France, and M. Eng. (2010) degree in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) from Department of Telecommunication Engineering, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand and B.Sc. (Eng.) in Computer Engineering from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He was appointed a senior lecturer at Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya. He worked as a project manager at Centre for Wireless Communications, University of Oulu, Finland. He has co-authored more than 25 international peer-reviewed articles and conference papers on IEEE, ACM and Springer, including aspects on wireless communication, network security, Software Defined Networking (SDN), and mobility.
